After floundering around in the online business world for a couple of years now, I’ve decided to start taking things seriously.
About a week ago I joined an online business accountability group of sorts, called Screw U. (as in short for “Screw University”) hosted by Jill and Josh Stanton from Screw The Nine to Five.
It will provide all the elements I really need right now… accountability, tutorials and moral support!
I’ve only been in for a week and have already signed up with an accountability partner, started going through some great online courses and have been more focused in my approach to getting things done.
The 90-day plan
Instead of just jumping straight into the next random task, I sat down and drew out a rough 90 day plan. For the next 90 days (I will focus exclusively on putting my fledgling niche site excelbuzz.com on the map. I will also post here periodically to keep you updated regarding any progress I’ve made (and to keep myself accountable!).
The 90 days are from 20 November 2015 – 10 February 2016. The first few days have been a bit slow as our second kiddo arrived a only a few days ago…. And newborns don’t care much for their parents’ carefully laid plans
I’ve jotted down a few key milestones from the 90 day plan. I’m hoping to achieve the following by day 40:
- 250 FB likes (I currently have 118)
- 5 additional blog posts
- 5 additional FB image posts, and
- a mailing list of 50 names.
I have no idea if I’m being overly ambitious or too cautious. I can always adjust once I get a better idea after a few weeks… Well here goes!
P.S. I’ll post an update in 30 days…
